Learn the proper alignment, language and the flow of Pilates Mat. Develop the step-by-step cueing skills necessary to teach each exercise, and how to sequence these exercises within a class. Gain an understanding of how to building-block or modify an intelligent workout to accommodate special populations and correct common faulty movement patterns. This specialized Pilates training will get you out of the box and expand your boundaries! Using small props we will explore Pilates mat exercises from a different point of view. Balls, bands, straps, Power Circles, and other props will be used to achieve proper positioning and alignment, as well as for challenging strength, stretch, and stability. Discover new and innovative ways to incorporate small props into any of your Group Ex classes or Personal Training sessions to put a slightly different spin on the exercises that you use every day. You will go home with new ideas on how and why to incorporate props into your classes for variety and freshness! Printed manual handed out at the training.
